Chris White Sr. — AI Systems Builder, Operator, Founder of NexSys Labs and PreSquared
what you
build on
About Chris White:
Chris is an AI systems builder and operator based in Baltimore. He is the founder of NexSys Labs — a hybrid AI consulting practice and product lab — and co-founder of PreSquared, a predictive health platform. He builds AI-powered software for business and life, and shows leaders and teams how to use it.
Chris's career started at Stanford University School of Medicine doing brain imaging research, then spent 16 years as Chief Development Officer at FEI Systems, where his team drove 25% year-over-year revenue growth for 15 consecutive years across $180M+ in health-tech contracts. After serving as VP of Market Access at PointClickCare, he had a "lightning flash" realization that he could build functional software using only natural language prompts — and NexSys Labs was born.
Today he works as a Fractional CAIO, helping executives implement practical AI systems. His work spans multi-agent workflows, AI-assisted coding, cognitive science-driven UX, and human-centered AI collaboration. He serves as Digital Health Advisor at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures and Entrepreneur in Residence at bwTECH at UMBC.
Build on what you build on is Chris's operating philosophy: iterative creation where each project, tool, and lesson becomes the foundation for the next.
